Bonvallis Dry Fruit Cakes are a traditional Mediterranean mix of dry fruits, made with premium ingredients of a natural sweetness. “Pan” means bread in Spanish and, although there is no bread or flour in the recipe, these delicacies have kept their original name for centuries. Probably of Arab origin, it is a peasant recipe that, on one hand, allows preserving the eventual surplus stock of figs and, on the other hand, is a very energetic food, ideal for peasants’ hard labor.
