P.D.O

Spain counts different Denomination of Origin “P.D.O.”, the highest category from various regions, valleys, mountains and islands, made by residents for centuries using products from local breeds. Production processes, the breeds involved and the final products are subject to strict, on-going quality controls defined by law. D.O. products can be recognized by the numbered seal stating: Consejo Regulador Denominación de Origen (Denomination of Origin)
