Ahumado de Pria is an artisan cheese from Asturias made from pasteurized cow’s milk and an addition of sheep’s cream. After a short maturation, the cheese is slowly smoked with oak wood by skilled Asturian craftsmen, enriching the smooth paste with a delightfully delicate smokey flavor.
The texture is smooth, flexible and elastic. It has a pleasant aroma, taste and a total balance.
Ahumado de Pría is a lovely cheese for many occasions including a balanced cheese board. It pairs with fruity white wines from Penedés area.
